Root Cause Chiropractic Care
What is Root Cause Chiropractic?
Root Cause Chiropractic (RCC) is a technique that I imagined 32+ years ago and have continued to add new dimensions to it through the years. Focusing as primarily a neurologically based treatment, this very gentle and mostly non-manipulative technique works from the Central Nervous System out to the Musculoskeletal System, so your treatment protocols as supported by a properly functioning Central Nervous System! It is like “rebooting” your computer, which always runs smoother after the process. You will too!
Root Cause Chiropractic Treatments
RCC incorporates many different aspects of treatment:
- Neurological decompression: The keystone of RCC, this is where we use the power of sound to release fascia and affect nerve function many inches inside your body. Assisted by cold laser, your nerves start to function properly; this is the “rebooting” of the system.
- Postural-focused, neurologically derived: This works so well with Active Rehab training and Pilates/Yoga, as we also focus on breathing and core bracing patterns.
- Trigenics Neuromuscular Rebalancing: This treatment supports proper joint movement and mobility, restores strength to weak muscles and gently removes chronic areas of tightness, spasm and trigger points without excessive pain.
- Myofascial Percussor Release: Addresses chronically tight fascia and muscles due to chronic, low grade nerve compression. Essentially, we unwind the body from the nerve compression which causes postural distortion and adaptation.
- Cranial specific treatments: For chronic upper neck, skull, facial and temporomandibular pain/problems, which can also relate to lower back and pelvic issues, breathing issues.
- Extensive experience: 15+ years of treating Concussions/mTBI, 10+ years certified Complete Concussion Management Certified Practitioner with proprietary cold laser protocols for treatment.
- Whole body approach: a thorough approach to your issue because the solution to your pain may not be where the pain is. In other words, a pain-centred approach often does not solve the pain!
I work in conjunction with other health professions to create a team approach as needed. As a solo practitioner, with all these different aspects to practice, I can integrate your treatment plan because I have many tools in my tool belt to assist you in your health journey!
